When planting a corn food plot, we suggest applying 75 units of dry nitrogen fertilizer or liquid 32% at plant time before our Nitro-Buck as the additional nitrogen needed to grow a corn crop, to ensure a long-lasting nitrogen supply to the corn crop throughout the growing season. Corn needs 1 unit of nitrogen for every bushel of corn planned to be produced per acre of land, most food plotters are aiming for 100 to 150 bushels or 100 to 150 units of nitrogen per acre.
